Group O Compounds
					ECO: epichlorohydrin copolymers

Commercial names: Herchlor (Hercules Inc.), Hydrin (B. F. Goodrich Co.).
The epichlorohydrin copolymer lends itself to use in applications where thermal and mechanical stresses do not reach great intensity, but where direct contact with air cannot be excluded. In fact, this rubber presents good resistance to ageing if the operating temperature is maintained below 140°C. At higher temperatures the superficial deterioration and the worsening of the Compression Set make its use inadvisable.
